Australian cattle prices remain stable: average steers are priced at 74,000 VND/kg, and non-steers at 76,000 VND/kg.
The border area in Long An is closed at the moment, leading to fewer cattle arriving from the south.
Meat prices are holding steady, ranging from 180,000 to 190,000 VND/kg; in the southern region, they range from 170,000 to 180,000 VND/kg.
However, small-scale farmers are still facing price pressure from traders, as cattle prices have been low for an extended period. This has led to poorer quality in cattle breeding, with inferior stock quality resulting in average prices only reaching 73,000 to 76,000 VND/kg for F1 3B crossbred cattle.

A large quantity of cattle is being imported from Thailand, Cambodia, and Myanmar at lower prices. High-quality Thai cattle are priced between 77,000 - 78,000 VND/kg.
Wholesale meat prices remain unchanged, ranging between 180,000 - 190,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, Steers' prices have witnessed a decline of 1-2 thousand Dong/kg this week, while the prices of 3B cattle have experienced fluctuations, ultimately dropping by 2-3 thousand Dong/kg compared to last week.
Traders Big buffalo prices increased this week owing to the demand from China. A higher quantity of big heavy buffaloes is now being exported to China through some borders in the North such as Cao Bang and Lai Chau.
