In week 20, the average prices of beef thigh and beef fillet both increased compared to the previous week. Specifically, beef thigh was priced at 207.6 thousand VND/kg, an increase of 1.1% compared to week 19. Beef fillet was priced at 233 thousand VND/kg, a sharp increase of 13.5%.

•In week 20, the average price of live-weight cattle was 82.5 thousand VND/kg, a decrease of 0.6% compared to the previous week.
•In week 20, the lowest price recorded for local cattle and crossbred Brahman cattle was 65,000 VND/kg in the South, while the highest price was recorded in the North at 75,000 VND/kg. The lowest price for BBB (Belgian Blue Beef) cattle was recorded in the North and the Central Highlands - Central region at 65,000 VND/kg, while the highest was in the North at 83,000 VND/kg.

In week 21, Vietnamese beef prices fluctuated slightly at Go Mart and were stable at other supermarkets. Specifically, Go Mart reported an increase in the price of beef shank and beef thigh compared to week 20, at 356 thousand VND/kg and 354 thousand VND/kg, respectively. The lowest prices for beef fillet and beef shank were recorded at Covifood. This is also the supermarket that has maintained the most stable prices since the beginning of April.
For Australian beef, in week 21, the prices remained stable at most supermarkets except Go Mart which reported a discount on Australian beef shank and beef brisket, at 297 thousand VND/kg and 285 thousand VND/kg, respectively.
