In week 14, the average prices of beef thigh and beef fillet both increased compared to the previous month. The price of beef fillet was 225.2 thousand VND/kg, an increase of 0.7% compared to week 13. The price of beef thigh was 202.6 thousand VND/kg, an increase of 1.1% compared to week 13.
In week 15, the prices of Vietnamese and Australian beef at supermarkets remained unchanged compared to the previous week.In particular, Co.op Mart, Win Mart and Vissan Mart were the three supermarkets that have maintained the most stable prices since the beginning of 2024. For Vietnamese beef, the lowest prices of beef shank, beef fillet, and beef thigh were recorded at Covifood at 240 thousand VND/kg, 270 thousand VND/kg, and 220 thousand VND/kg, respectively. For Australian beef, the lowest price of beef shank was recorded at HomeFarm at 230 thousand VND/kg. The lowest price of shoulder clod was recorded at Go Mart at 334 thousand VND/kg. The lowest price of beef brisket was at Covifood at 240 thousand VND/kg.
