In week 15, the average price of beef thigh remained unchanged compared to the previous week at 202.6 thousand VND/kg. The average price of beef fillet was 225.3 thousand VND/kg, a slight increase of 0.1% compared to the previous week.

• In week 15, the price of live-weight cattle was 82.3 thousand VND/kg, a slight decrease of 0.8% compared to the previous week.
• According to local traders, in week 15, the prices of live-weight cattle increased compared to the previous week with prices comparatively higher in the north than the south. Of these, the price of BBB cattle in the North was 78-82 thousand VND/kg and 74-75 thousand VND/kg in the South. The price of Charolais cattle in the North was 78-80 thousand VND/kg and 72-74 thousand VND/kg in the South.

In week 16, the prices of Vietnamese beef at supermarkets remained unchanged compared to the previous week. These prices were maintained for 2 consecutive weeks. The lowest prices of beef fillet and beef thigh were recorded at Winmart at 358 thousand VND/kg and 340 thousand VND/kg, respectively. The lowest price of brisket navel end was recorded at Go Mart at 240 thousand VND/kg.

In week 16, the prices of Australian beef remained unchanged compared to the previous week. The lowest prices of beef shank and beef brisket were recorded at Home Farm at 230 thousand VND/kg and 289 thousand VND/kg, respectively. The price of Hokubee cube roll at Bach Hoa Xanh was still highly discounted at 780 thousand VND/kg as compared to 916 thousand VND/kg in Week 12.
