In week 13, the average prices of beef thigh and beef fillet both decreased compared to week 12. The price of beef thigh was 200.3 thousand VND/kg - the lowest price since the beginning of 2024, a decrease of 0.6% compared to week 12. The price of beef fillet was 223.6 thousand VND/kg, a decrease of 3.2% compared to week 12.

• Since the beginning of 2024, the price of live-weight cattle has remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 82 thousand VND/kg (in week 11) and 83.7 thousand VND/kg (in week 1). In week 13, the price of live-weight cattle was 82.5 thousand VND/kg, a slight increase of 0.6% compared to the previous week.
• According to local traders, in week 13, the prices of BBB cattle and Charolais cattle increased compared to the previous week. Specifically, in the week, the price of BBB cattle in the North was 78-82 thousand VND/kg and the price in the South was 74-75 thousand VND/kg. The price of Charolais cattle in the North was 78-80 thousand VND/kg and the price in the South was 72-74 thousand VND/kg.

In week 14, the prices of Vietnamese beef at supermarkets remained stable compared to the previous week, except at Go Mart, which reported an increase in the prices of beef fillet and beef thigh and a decrease in the price of brisket navel end. Co.op Mart and Winmart are the two supermarkets with the least price fluctuations since the beginning of 2024.
The lowest price of brisket navel end was recorded at Go Mart at 240 thousand VND/kg. The lowest prices of beef fillet and beef thigh were recorded at Win Mart at 358 thousand VND/kg and 340 thousand VND/kg, respectively.

​In week 14, the prices of Australian beef at Go Mart increased by 30-40 thousand VND/kg compared to week 13. The lowest prices of Australian beef shank and beef brisket were recorded at Home Farm at 230 thousand VND/kg and 289 thousand VND/kg, respectively. Hokubee beef sirloin at Bach Hoa Xanh was priced at 712 thousand VND/kg, which is the lowest price since the beginning of 2024.
