In week 11, the average prices of beef thigh and beef fillet decreased marginally compared to the previous week. The price of beef thigh was 201.2 thousand VND/kg, a decrease of 0.1% compared to week 10. The price of beef fillet was 228.3 thousand VND/kg, a decrease of 0.3% compared to week 10.
In week 12, the prices of Vietnamese beef at supermarkets remained stable compared to the previous week. The prices of beef products in Covifood were the lowest among the supermarkets, of which, the price of beef thigh was 220 thousand VND/kg, beef fillet was 270 thousand VND/kg, and beef shank was 240 thousand VND/kg. The price of brisket navel end was 258 thousand VND/kg at both Go Mart and Co.op Mart. In week 12, the prices of Australian beef were stable at most supermarkets except Homefarm where the price of beef shank increased to 230 thousand VND/kg. However, the price of beef shank recorded at Homefarm at 230 thousand VND/kg was the lowest amongst the supermarkets. The lowest price of beef brisket was at Go Mart at 285 thousand VND/kg.
